In a condolence message, the state chairman of the association, Alhaji Abdulrazak Yusuf Mohammed, described the killing of the NSCDC officer, who was reportedly shot in the head, as tragic and heartbreaking.
Mohammed said the association joined the Niger State Commandant of the NSCDC, Commandant Suberu Siyaka Aniviye, in condemning the attack in the strongest terms, describing it as a senseless act that claimed the life of a dedicated officer.
He stated that members of the Miners Association of Nigeria in Niger State are law-abiding and committed to operating within the confines of the law, assuring that the association would continue to cooperate with the NSCDC in carrying out its constitutional responsibility of protecting and sanitising the nation’s solid minerals sector.

The MAN chairman however called on Niger State Command of NSCDC to ensure that the perpetrators of this heinous act face the full weight of the Law.
He then prayed for Almighty Allah to grant the late Aminu Eshi Aljannatul Firdaus and give his family, colleagues and the NSCDC the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
