Welcome to AchieversFocus (“AchieversFocus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), accessible at achieversfocus.com. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, its content, and related services (collectively, the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site.

4. User Accounts

  • It does not infringe any third party’s copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights;
  • It is not defamatory, unlawful, or in violation of these Terms.

5.2 License granted to us. By submitting User Content, you grant AchieversFocus a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sub-licensable license to reproduce, publish, display, and distribute that content on the Site and associated social media channels, for the purpose of operating and promoting the Site. You retain ownership of your content.

5.3 Moderation. We reserve the right, but do not assume the obligation, to monitor, edit, or remove any User Content at our sole discretion, including comments that are abusive, off-topic, spam, or otherwise violate these Terms or our Comment Policy. We are not responsible for User Content posted by third parties and do not endorse the views expressed in comments.

5.4 Reporting. If you believe a comment or submission violates these Terms, infringes your rights, or is defamatory, contact us at support@achieversfocus.com with details, and we will review it in a timely manner.

6. Editorial Content, Accuracy & Independence

6.1 General informational purpose. Content published on AchieversFocus — news reports, analysis, opinion, and features — is provided for general informational purposes. While our editorial team works to verify facts before publication, we do not guarantee that all content is complete, accurate, or up to date at all times. See our Disclaimer for further detail.

6.2 Editorial independence. Editorial decisions at AchieversFocus are made independently of advertising, sponsorship, or commercial partnerships. Advertisements and sponsored content, if any, will be clearly labeled as such and do not reflect the editorial position of AchieversFocus.

6.3 Corrections and right of reply. If you believe an article contains a factual error or unfairly represents you or your organization, you may request a correction or a right of reply by contacting support@achieversfocus.com. 13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AchieversFocus and its staff, contributors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: your violation of these Terms; your User Content; or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

14. User Conduct and Applicable Law

You are solely responsible for content you post or transmit through the Site, including comments. Nigerian law — including provisions on defamation and the Cybercrime (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) (Amendment) Act, 2024 — applies to online communications, and you are responsible for ensuring your submissions comply with it. AchieversFocus reserves the right to remove content and cooperate with lawful requests from relevant authorities where legally required, while upholding its commitment to editorial independence and freedom of expression under Section 39 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

15. Termination

If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts sitting in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and AchieversFocus regarding use of the Site, superseding any prior agreements.
