2027 ELECTION: UNIFIERS GROUP DECLARES SUPPORT FOR SENATOR MUSA’S RE-ELECTION BID

A political pressure group in the Gurara, Suleja and Tafa Federal Constituency of Niger State, known as UNIFIERS, has declared its support for the re-election of Senator Mohammed Sani Musa (313), citing what it described as his outstanding performance and developmental achievements in the Niger East Senatorial District.

Speaking on behalf of the group, its Convener, Hon. Haruna Abubakar Arafat Magaji, said the endorsement followed a careful assessment of Senator Musa’s track record in the Senate, which, according to him, has translated into tangible benefits for the people of the district.

Magaji said effective legislative representation requires experience, competence and the capacity to attract democratic dividends, qualities he noted Senator Musa has consistently demonstrated since assuming office.

He described the lawmaker as a grassroots politician whose achievements in human capital and infrastructural development have positively impacted communities across the senatorial district.

According to him, Senator Musa’s interventions in education through local and foreign scholarship programmes, empowerment of small-scale business owners, and other constituency projects have contributed significantly to the development of Niger East.

The group said it had therefore resolved to support the senator’s return to the National Assembly, insisting that continuity was necessary to sustain the developmental strides recorded in the district.

“We cannot trade a proven performer for an unknown personality whose political capacity to attract development to the senatorial district remains uncertain,” Magaji said.

UNIFIERS further maintained that Senator Musa’s representation has delivered quality legislation, effective advocacy and impactful constituency development projects, adding that the ongoing initiatives, particularly those focused on human capital development, should be allowed to continue.
