YOUTHS DISTRIBUTE WRITING MATERIALS TO PUPILS IN NIGER STATE

The Coalition of Maitumbi youths progressive forum, Bosso local Government Area of Niger State has distributed over 50 chairs and books to pupils in Maitumbi Primary School Maitumbi, Minna Niger State.

The gesture was part of its School Programme designed to support some of the deficient schools with inadequate facilities of the government schools in Niger State.

The items, which include fivety chairs and writing materials, were shared to pupils aimed to encourage for better learning in the school.

The Chairman of the forum Haliru Ibrahim said, the initiative was born out of a conviction that education remains the most powerful tools for empowerment and National development because Children are the future of tomorrow.

According to him, the forum remains committed to expanding its reach with interventions that will continue to cover the pupils, because every educated person all passed through this same road, and it is only right that we give back to society.

He said, the forum also plan to extend support to order pupils aimed at inspiring the children for pursue education as a path to a better future.

Ambassador Umar sanda Mohammed of the forum assured maintaining ongoing communication with the school and seeking additional resources to support disadvantaged students, emphasizing the importance of education and sustainable development in our society.

He stated that he forum has embark on distribution of learning materials to various schools across the ward facilitated by the member of the State house of assembly Architected Abubakar Suleiman Gomma and others individuals who serve as their philanthropy to the forum.

Appreciating the forum, the head teacher of the Maitumbi Nursery, Primary school and junior Secondary School Maitumbi Minna, Umar Sarki thanks the forum for their gesture adding that the gesture came In a time when Niger is facing economic hardship, gathering to help children by providing chairs and writing materials is truly commendable and urging others to emulate same efforts while assuring adequate distribution to the most needed pupils.

The ward head of the area Tanko Bussa appreciate the youths for their initiative, adding that this is what the society have been looking for, people and organizations from outside coming to contribute to educational system, which is currently deteriorating in the society because many parents who struggle to afford basic needs cannot afford educational materials for their children while Initiatives like these play a vital role in bridging the gap for underprivileged families.

The head boy Salisu Musa and head girl of the school Naomi Solomon also aplaude the forum for assisting them with materials which would go along way of making a better learning environment.
