JUNE 12 CELEBRATION: HOMELAND COMMISSIONER CONGRATULATES NIGER FARMER GOVERNOR 

Niger State Commissioner for Homeland Security, Barrister Maurice Magaji,  on behalf of the  Ministry’s  Permanent Secretary and Staff, congratulates Farmer Governor Mohammed Umar Bago on this year’s Democracy Day celebration.

In his Congratulatory message, Barrister Maurice described June 12 as a date that carries the weight of the Nigerian people’s collective resolve to choose freedom, fairness, and democratic governance over all else.

The Homeland Security Commissioner emphasized that the observance of Democracy Day should not be limited to a mere date on the calendar, but should serve as a moment for all Nigerians to reflect on the resilience,  and unwavering spirit of the heroes who have sacrificed to establish and maintain democracy in the country.

He urged Nigerians to remain resolute and unwavering in their collective efforts to uphold democratic governance as the nation commemorates 25 years of uninterrupted Civil rule since 1999.

The Barrister, however, commended the Niger State Farmer Governor, Mohammed Umar Bago, for his exemplary leadership role, which empowered the people of the State to lead dignified lives by utilizing resources for their benefit and providing opportunities for economic participation at all levels.
