GOV. BAGO ATTENDS WEDDING OF FATIMA DAUGHTER OF BARRISTER VERONICA, ADVICES COUPLES TO BE PATIENT & TOLERANT.

Niger State governor,farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago was among many guests and well wishers that graced the traditional wedding ceremony of Fatima Sonia Ndanusa, daughter of the Executive Director and CEO Lagos International Trade Fair Complex Management Board and her partner Kenneth Nnamdi Ukeagu.
The ceremony which took place at the residence of the bride’s mother in Minna over the weekend, attracted guests from different walks of life.
Governor Bago,while congratulating the couples and prayed that God blesses their union and guides them aright,also advised them to learn from their parents by being patient,tolerant, as well as love each other.
He however described the bride as his daughter who was well brought up and urged her husband Nnamdi to take very good care of her as it is his responsibility to do so.
Speaking to journalists shortly, the mother of the bride, Barrister Veronica Ndanusa, Executive Director/CEO Lagos International Trade Fair Complex Management Board, blessed the couples,and urged them to strictly avoid third party in their marriage life.
The legal luminary appreciated governor of Niger State, Muhammad Umaru Bago for personally attended the traditional wedding ceremony,saying that the governor is always there for her family.
Barrister Veronica noted that she was overwhelmed over the large turn out of personalities from all walks of life.
According to her,I also appreciated, the former governor of Niger State, Dr. Mua’zu Babangida Aliyu,I equally appreciated our Royal Father’s,the Etsu Nupe,and Chairman Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, Alhaji (Dr)Yahaya Abubakar,represented at the event by the Shamakin Nupe, Umaru Edota Waziri,while the Ciroman Lapai, Mohammed Mustapha represented the Emir of Lapai, Umaru Bago Tafida, for their royal blessings in the marriage with a call on the couple to live peacefully and be bonded by true love”.
The event featured traditional dances from both families of the newly wedded couples amidst cheers from guests,as well as wedding reception.
Highlights of the ceremony was the performances from different cultural groups, and symbolic presentation of gifts and group photograph among others.
