2027: NASSARAWA APC SUPPORTERS ENDORSE EX-IGP AS GOVERNOR

As the 2027 general election draw closer, supporters of All Progressives Congress (APC) yesterday turned out en masse in Keffi, Nasarawa State capital, for a solidarity rally for former Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu ahead of 2027 general election.
The mega rally which was “carnival -like ” began before midday and was coordinated by members of Mohammed Abukakar Adamu Support Group Organisation (MAASGO).

The supporters of Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, the former IGP, were sporting with branded t-shirts, caps and vests as they converged at the starting point close to Nasarawa State University, NSUK Gate, Keffi, from where the procession moved to other parts of the metropolis.
The procession, accompanied by drummers, flutists and others moved from street-to-street sharing pamphlets showcasing the achievements and performance of the retired top cop.
The supporters of the former IGP were seen bearing different placards with inscriptions such as ‘Muje IGP 2027’ (Let’s go IGP 2027), ‘Nasarawa Project MA 2027’, ‘Walin Lafia for Governor of Nasarawa State,’ ‘Tinubu/Rtd IGP Adamu We Know 2027 Join the Moving Train now,’ and several others, openly canvassed support for the candidacy of the Ex-IGP Adamu ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
Nurain however argued that the candidacy of the Ex-IGP Adamu has been well received by the people of Nasarawa State judging by the show of solidarity with people from different walks of life.
“The mega rally today has been massive. It is there for all to see the massive crowd that came out today to canvass support for the retired IGP Adamu” he said
