BAGO ADMINISTRATION PROMISES QUALITY HEALTHCARE FOR NIGER LITES
The Niger state government under the able leadership of farmer Mohammed Umar Bago has restated it commitment to provide quality medical services towards serving and protecting the lives of people at all times.
The state commissioner of health.Doctor Mohammed Murtala Bagana disclosed this while commissioning a new ambulance vehicle at minna general Hospital.
Doctor Bagana said that the commissioning of the a new ambulance vehicle shows a clear demonstration of the government readiness to providing the needed medical services in all our health institutions especially in terms of transportation.
According to him, the state government has procured several ambulance vehicles before but they commissioned now is the one provided in collaboration with the federal government of Nigeria through the new hope agenda of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu
On the services of the new ambulance, Doctor Bagana disclosed that a platform called Niger state emergency medical ambulance services unit will be open so as to enable other hospitals have direct access to the ues of new ambulance especially when the need arise.
He announced that the decision of the new ambulance serves as a quick response to accident victims as well as other patients such as snake bite among others.
Also in his remarks, the Niger state coordinator Emergency Medical services, Doctor Lawal Umar Farooq said that the ambulance emergency medical services unit is to provide quick response to accident victims adding that plan are in progress to to expand it services local government areas like mokwa, kontagora,suleja and Rijau that boarder with neighbouring states and that are prohne accident at all times.
He therefore announced that phone numbers will made available at the State emergency medical service unit for easy reach out.
