RAINBOW COALITION INTEGRATION: WIKE’S COMMITTEE TO MEET FUBARA

The Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Nyesom Wike has inaugurated a committee headed by former federal lawmaker Magnus Abe to engage Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara.
Addressing the Journalists during the monthly media chat in Abuja on Tuesday, Wike said the committee’s mandate is to discuss how the Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, and his supporters can be integrated into the Rainbow Coalition in Rivers State.
According to the FCT Minister, Governor Fubara has already provided a date for the meeting. Wike described the development as a positive sign of progress for the state.
Addressing the political crisis that previously rocked Rivers State, the FCT Minister insisted that he did not lose anything during the turmoil, explaining that considerations of political survival and relevance influenced the decision not to support Fubara for a second term.
