NAMI REDEEMS PLEDGE TO VICTIMS OF FATAL MINNA MINING ACCIDENT
The Niger State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Alhaji Muhammad Nami, has fulfilled his promise to the victims of the recent tragic mining incident in Minna by distributing 38 motorcycles and over ₦17 million in cash donations.
The relief materials and funds were structured to support both the families of the deceased and the surviving victims of the disaster. Each motorcycle was presented to the families of those who lost their loved ones, including the family of the late Emmanuel.
In addition to the motorcycles, Alhaji Nami donated ₦15 million directly to the survivors to assist with their recovery, while the Niger State Chapter of the Miners Association of Nigeria received ₦2 million to support its administrative efforts.
Speaking during the presentation at the Miners Association office in Minna, the PDP deputy governorship candidate, Hon. Dahiru DanAzumi, described the incident as a deeply unfortunate tragedy.
He prayed that Almighty Allah would grant the families of the deceased the fortitude to bear their painful losses, while wishing the survivors a complete and speedy recovery.
