OPERATION HADIN KAI AIR STRIKES NEUTRALIZE 103 TERRORISTS

Nigerian military forces have neutralised 103 ISWAP terrorists and destroyed multiple logistics hubs through a series of precision air strikes in the North East between 10 and 18 October 2026.
The intelligence-led operations were executed by the Joint Task Force (North East) Operation HADIN KAI, combining assets from the Nigerian Army Aviation, the Nigerian Army Remotely Piloted Aircraft (NARPAS) Regiment, and the Air Component.
The sustained air campaign consisted of seven targeted strikes across several locations. Operations took place around Gudumbali on 10 October, Badu on 11 October, Mairari and an area east of Badu on 13 October, Duste Uku on 16 October, and the alternate residence of the ISWAP Wali of South Lake Chad, Abu Saleem, in Arina Woje on 18 October 2026.

A major breakthrough occurred during the 18 October strike on Abu Saleem’s residence, where intelligence confirmed the deaths of his chief security guard, Jindullah, and Shura Council member Abul Kissa, alongside other fighters.
The bombardment completely leveled the structure, destroying vital logistics assets including nine boat engines and several motorcycles.
Earlier on 13 October, a surveillance asset tracked 16 terrorists from Mairari to a mass gathering of over 100 fighters east of Badu. A subsequent precision air strike on the gathering successfully neutralised approximately 30 terrorists and disrupted their mobility.

The remaining air strikes across Gudumbali, Badu, Mairari, and Duste Uku collectively brought the terrorist casualty count to 103. These operations heavily crippled the group’s operational capabilities, shattered their command networks, and denied them safe havens across the region.
