2027 ELECTION: HON. KUTIGI’S BIG PROMISE TO NIGER SOUTH

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Niger South Senatorial District, Hon. Sani Legbo Kutugi has assured his constituents of quality representation aimed at repositioning the district for greatness.

Speaking during an interactive session with journalists, Kutigi emphasized that Niger South is richly endowed with both human and natural resources which, if properly harnessed, can accelerate the economic development of both Niger State and Nigeria as a whole.

He pledged to leverage legislative instruments to address the long-abandoned Baro Port project and to fully harness the vast arable land within the senatorial district, naming these as his top priorities if elected during the 2027 general elections.

Hon. Kutigi noted that the people of Niger South stand to gain immensely from the district’s economic potential if they elect a lawmaker with a proven ability to strategically lobby various government agencies to drive regional growth.

The APC senatorial candidate maintained that his efforts to lobby relevant agencies to develop agricultural and maritime opportunities at the Baro Port will pave the way for agro-industrialization, ultimately creating thousands of jobs for the people of Niger South and Niger State at large.

He also promised to engage with key agencies to ensure local farmers gain direct access to vital farming implements, fertilizers, and other agricultural inputs to significantly increase their crop yields.

Hon. Sani Legbo Kutigi assured the electorate that his previous legislative experience as the Vice-Chairman of the House Committee on Inter-Governmental Affairs will serve as a major advantage in delivering on his promises for the district.

Furthermore, the APC candidate promised to bring functional healthcare facilities closer to rural areas, ensuring that affordable healthcare services are accessible to every resident across the senatorial district.

He also committed to collaborating with relevant agencies to provide both domestic and foreign scholarships to the youth of Niger South, ensuring sustained human capital development in the region.

Hon. Kutigi concluded by vowing that, if elected to the Red Chamber, he will not disappoint the trust reposed in him by the people of the Niger South Senatorial District
