Princess Sheikha Mahra, one of the daughters of the current Ruler of Dubai, has announced her divorce from her husband, Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Bin Mana Al Maktoum, just a year after their marriage.
In a post on her Instagram page, she wrote: “Dear husband, as you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce.” She continued with the Islamic practice of saying, “I divorce you, I divorce you, I divorce you,” three times, and concluded with, “Take care. Your ex-wife.”
This announcement comes two months after she gave birth to their daughter.
