BIMA MOURNS FORMER CBN DEPUTY GOVERNOR WITH ETSU NUPE
Senator Muhammad Bima Enagi has extended his heartfelt condolences to the Etsu Nupe and Chairman of the Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, His Royal Highness Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, following the passing of the former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Alhaji Ahmadu Sachi Maiyaki.
In a condolence message issued on Sunday, the Distinguished Senator described the demise of the elder statesman as a monumental loss, not just to the Bida Emirate and Niger State, but to the nation as a whole.
Senator Bima noted that the death of the former apex bank chief has created a profound vacuum.
He highlighted that Alhaji Maiyaki’s wealth of experience was instrumental in reshaping and stabilizing Nigeria’s financial and private sectors.
