NIGER 2027: NAMI BEST POSITIONED FOR GOVERNORSHIP VICTORY, SAYS HON. TSADO

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for Niger State, Mohammed Mamman Nami, is the best-positioned candidate to win the 2027 general election.
This declaration was made by the PDP candidate for the Bida, Gbako, and Katcha Federal Constituency, Hon. Mathias Baba Tsado, while sharing his perspectives on the upcoming 2027 polls in Niger State.
Hon. Tsado stated that the citizens of Niger State view the PDP governorship candidate as their last hope for rescue from the untold hardships brought upon them by the administration of Governor Mohammed Umar Bago.

PDP, GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE, NIGER STATE
According to the House of Representatives hopeful, the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led government has plunged the state into severe difficulties over its nearly four years in office.
He noted that since Nami declared his intention to contest the Niger State governorship, the overwhelming public support he has gathered has unsettled Governor Bago and created widespread anxiety within the ruling party.
Hon. Tsado maintained that citizens are weary of the current administration, which he claims has no tangible achievements to show despite receiving substantial state resources.

The PDP candidate argued that the alleged mismanagement of state resources has left the Bago administration unable to deliver impactful infrastructural developments.
He pointed out that despite the highly publicized “New Niger Agenda,” uncompleted road networks remain scattered across the state.

Furthermore, Hon. Tsado criticized the state of critical sectors under the current government. He remarked that the education sector remains in a terrible condition, while the agricultural sector which Governor Bago claims to revolutionize is failing local farmers due to the high cost of farming implements and fertilizers, thereby stalling agricultural progress.
On security, Hon. Tsado condemned the Governor’s approach to the state’s safety challenges.
He asserted that the administration has not provided adequate support to security agencies to effectively combat banditry and other criminal activities plaguing Niger State.
He emphasized that this security failure and the mismanagement of state resources are the primary reasons the public is rallying behind Mohammed Mamman Nami, whom they trust to provide the quality leadership needed to reposition the state.
Hon. Tsado also disclosed that Nami’s entry into the gubernatorial race has forced the Bago administration into a defensive political panic. He alleged that the Governor has recently rushed out nearly 50 new appointments in an attempt to pacify aggrieved APC members.

In conclusion, Hon. Tsado revealed that numerous APC members have been reaching out to the PDP, noting that the Governor is suddenly trying to appease party members he had previously neglected. Despite these late interventions, Hon. Tsado declared that the APC’s time in Niger State is over, as the masses are firmly resolved to vote them out of office.
