2027 POLLS: “TINUBU WILL WIN” — KWANKWANSO

A landslide victory awaits President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 election, according to a prediction by Dr. Musa Illiyasu Kwankwaso, a member of the APC Presidential Campaign Council.

He attributed this outcome to the surging support the President is receiving from politicians across various party lines.

Dr. Kwankwaso, who also serves as the Director of Finance at the Hadejia-Jama’are River Basin Development Authority, shared these insights in a statement released in Abuja on Thursday.

He pointed out that the decision of politicians from the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Labour Party (LP), People’s Democratic Party (PDP), and Accord Party to align with Tinubu’s re-election campaign reflects a broadening public trust in the President’s leadership and ongoing economic reforms.

“To me, the inauguration of the Presidential Campaign Council is like a congregation celebrating the re-election of President Tinubu back to office,” Kwankwaso stated. “What else remains when the same Nigerians we are supposed to campaign for have collectively come forward in unison for one person, Tinubu?”

Characterising this cross-party backing as entirely unprecedented in the nation’s democratic journey, he noted: “It has never happened in Nigeria’s political history that one man could attract nearly all opposition parties—not only opposition politicians, but people who have never agreed to sit together. Yet, because of Tinubu, they have agreed to come on board and pursue a common goal.”

Kwankwaso also highlighted recent remarks by Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo, suggesting that political leaders are increasingly acknowledging the necessity of Tinubu’s economic strategies in navigating global financial challenges.

“The 2027 presidential election is not just about political survival; it is a defining moment for Nigeria’s economic future,” Kwankwaso added. “President Tinubu deserves the opportunity to consolidate his policies despite the temporary difficulties associated with these necessary reforms.”

Turning his attention to the political dynamics in Kano State, Kwankwaso expressed strong confidence that local politicians across partisan divides would unite to ensure Tinubu’s victory at the polls, alongside Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and Deputy Governor Murtala Sule Garo.
