FAILED OPERATION ! ISWAP COMMANDERS KILLED EACH OTHER IN BORNO

Following the disputes over failed operations, ISWAP commanders and fighters have been turning their weapons on each other in deadly infighting.
Multiple sources revealed that the fight, which left many fighters dead, broken out following an incident in the Timbuktu Triangle in Borno State, where a heated dispute between senior field commanders over the execution of a scheduled operation escalated into a gun battle.
However, counter-insurgency experts monitoring the Lake Chad region reported that the continuous pressure from coordinated air and ground strikes by the Nigerian Armed Forces and the Nigerian Air Force has severely degraded ISWAP’s operational capacity.
The reported heavy military pressure has led to dwindling resources, increasing desperation, and internal confusion among the insurgent ranks.
