2027: TSADO’S SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR BIDA GBAKO AND KATCHA FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY
The House of Representatives candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Bida, Gbako, and Katcha Federal Constituency, Hon. Mathias Baba Tsado, has pledged to prioritize job creation, sustainable empowerment programmes, grassroots development, and robust support for local farmers to boost agricultural development across the constituency.
Hon. Tsado, a mechanical Engineer made this commitment during an interactive session with journalists in the Bida Local Government Area of Niger State.
He explained that his proposed representation would adopt community-based approaches to tackle the pressing socio-economic challenges facing the people of Bida, Gbako, and Katcha, which he noted have been neglected by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) administration, particularly at the state level.
The PDP hopeful highlighted that the severe economic hardship experienced by his constituents aggravated by the alleged shenanigans and nonchalant attitude of the incumbent lawmaker has unfortunately forced many residents into unlawful lifestyles simply to survive and handle financial pressures.
To correct this, Hon. Tsado vowed that his administration would usher in a brand-new style of representation. He promised to connect constituents with decent job opportunities, introduce widespread empowerment schemes, attract heavy investments to the region, and provide critical support to local farmers.
He declared that the era of siphoning constituency funds is over, asserting that the electorate has already rejected the incumbent representative for failing to deliver tangible developmental results.
Hon. Tsado maintained that the people of the Bida, Gbako, and Katcha Federal Constituency are eager for a leader who will proactively help them secure massive employment opportunities and guarantee a brighter future through sound legislative representation.
Focusing on agriculture, he vowed to support local farmers by providing subsidized fertilizers and modern farming implements at highly affordable rates to boost the sector’s contribution to both Niger State and the nation’s economy.
He emphasized that the Gbako, Bida, and Katcha Federal Constituency possesses the unique capacity to generate agricultural yields that can serve as essential raw materials for various industries, provided they receive adequate backing.
Consequently, Hon. Tsado promised to leverage legislative tools to draw Federal Government attention to the region’s agricultural potential and facilitate the establishment of industries within the constituency.
He concluded by urging voters not to fall for the deception and lies of the ruling APC representative who has abandoned them for years, emphasizing that a renewed and developed federal constituency is fully achievable if they elect a visionary leader like him.
