2027 PRESIDENTIAL RACE: MOHAMMED DECLARES SEYI MAKINDE MOST PREPARED CANDIDATE
The Niger State Chairman of the Allied People’s Movement, Aliyu Mohammed, has described the party’s presidential candidate, Governor Seyi Makinde, as the only leader equipped to steer Nigeria toward greatness in the 2027 general election.
Speaking during an interactive session with journalists, Mohammed emphasized that while Nigeria possesses abundant potential, poor leadership has historically hindered its growth. He noted that this leadership deficit is what motivated Governor Makinde to enter the presidential race.
Mohammed maintained that the APM joint ticket of Engr. Seyi Makinde and his running mate, Musa Daura, offers the precise expertise required to resolve the country’s economic and security crises. He described Makinde as a action-oriented leader who lets his results speak for themselves, pointing to his ongoing economic transformation as the Executive Governor of Oyo State.
Meanwhile, he lauded Daura as a top-tier security expert fully prepared to tackle Nigeria’s safety challenges.
APM CHAIRMAN NIGER STATE
According to the state chairman, Governor Makinde has been engaging citizens through town hall meetings across the nation to share his vision.
He noted that the feedback from these engagements reflects a strong desire among Nigerians for a Makinde presidency to reset and reposition the country. Mohammed concluded by calling on Nigerians to leverage the 2027 election to vote for a capable leader like Makinde.
