SHATTA STAKEHOLDERS ENDORSE HON. (ARC) GOMNA FOR RE-ELECTION
The people of Shatta Ward in Bosso Local Government Area, Niger State, have endorsed the return of Hon. Abubakar S. Gomna to represent them in the 2027 general elections, citing his performance and developmental impact.
The endorsement, which took place during a well-attended community event, attracted a large turnout of residents who expressed strong support for his re-election. Many participants highlighted his experience, accessibility, and achievements in office as key reasons for their backing.
Speaking on behalf of the community, the Chairman of the Youth Council, Amb. Simon Audu Shekwoyan, described the endorsement as a collective decision driven by visible performance and consistent delivery of projects across Bosso Constituency.
He noted that Shatta Ward and other parts of the constituency have experienced meaningful development under Hon. Gomna, particularly in areas such as education support through scholarships, improved access to water, healthcare services, and other community-based projects.
According to him, Hon. Gomna has also facilitated about 55 employment opportunities for constituents across both state and federal levels, in addition to supporting several youths with scholarships to pursue higher education within Nigeria.
He expressed confidence that a continued tenure would bring further development to Shatta Ward and the wider Bosso Local Government Area.
Other stakeholders and party leaders present at the event also reaffirmed their support for the lawmaker’s re-election bid, while urging him to accelerate the completion of ongoing projects in the community.
In his response, Hon. Gomna appreciated the endorsement and pledged to continue using his position to advance development across Shatta Ward and the entire constituency. He further assured residents of his commitment to fast-track ongoing projects and deliver more dividends of democracy in the years ahead.
