MY DAUGHTER ENCOURAGED ME TO SUPPORT OBI–KWANKWASO
The Ex- presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), and the former Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has revealed that one of his daughters urged him to work with former Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, during the 2023 general election.
Kwankwaso made the disclosure during an interview on Arise Television’s Prime Time programme on Monday
The former Kano Governor noted that many political leaders had failed to understand the mindset and aspirations of young Nigerians, especially in the age of social media.
He said younger Nigerians were more interested in competent leadership than the religious and ethnic considerations often emphasised by older politicians
