SULEJA, GURARA AND TAFA : HON SANI PROMISES INCLUSIVE LEADERSHIP

Hon. Usman Sani, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Gurara/Suleja/Tafa Federal Constituency, has promised high-quality and inclusive representation to drive rapid growth and development across the region starting in 2027
. Sani shared this vision while addressing journalists recently in the Tafa Local Government Area of Niger State
Sani declared that his immediate focus will be delivering tangible dividends of democracy and utilizing legislative tools to end the banditry plaguing the constituency, particularly in Tafa LGA.
He highlighted the severe infrastructural deficits facing the area, noting that residents of Tafa currently lack potable water, a vulnerability worsened by a recent incident where bandits kidnapped over 30 people.
Additionally, he pointed out that the people of Gawu in Gurara LGA are completely cut off from the electricity grid.
The candidate critiqued the historical political dynamics of the constituency, stating that politicians from Suleja have held the House of Representatives seat for over 20 years. Sani alleged that past representatives routinely abandoned Tafa and Gurara once elected, channeling development exclusively into Suleja

Sani, who previously served as the Campaign Director-General for the incumbent lawmaker, Rt. Hon. Adamu Tanko Lokoja, before Lokoja’s defection from the PDP to the APC, vowed to break this cycle and ensure all three local government areas benefit equally.
Empowering Youth and Women to Fight CrimeAcknowledging the critical electoral power of women and youth, Sani urged them to actively support his campaign for the Green Chamber.
He promised that his administration would tackle youth restiveness by placing young people at the center of the local economy. By expanding access to education, financial empowerment, and skills acquisition, Sani believes the constituency can provide productive alternatives to crime, ultimately helping to resolve the region’s insecurity.
