2027 ELECTION : LAVUN, EDATI AND MOKWA STAKEHOLDERS DECLARE SUPPORT FOR APC CANDIDATE
Elders and opinion moulders in Lavun, Edati and Mokwa Federal Constituency have thrown their weight behind the former Speaker Niger State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adamu Usman, the APC consensus candidate for the constituency ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The decision was contained in a statement issued by the Chairman of the Stakeholders, Muhammad Giwa Muhammad, after their meeting in Mokwa Local Government Area of Niger State on Tuesday.

Giwa, who described the APC House of Representatives candidate as a lawyer, communicator, strategist and passionate patriot, said he possesses the experience, intellect, courage, and energy required to provide effective and impactful representation at the National Assembly.
Speaking further, he said the aspiration of Rt. Hon. Adamu Usman, is driven by a clear vision focused on inclusive development, economic empowerment, infrastructure renewal, youth and women advancement, educational support, and expanded access to federal opportunities for the people of Lavun, Edati and Mokwa Federal Constituency.
According to Giwa, the decision to support Rt. Hon. Adamu Usman followed extensive consultations on the constituency’s unity and democratic progress, ahead of the 2027 elections.
He, however, called on the electorate to unite behind the APC House of Representatives candidate, stressing that Rt. Hon. Adamu Usman has what it takes to leverage legislative Instruments to change the narrative of development in Lavun, Edati and Mokwa Federal Constituency.
