DR YAKUBU SECURES MASSIVE ENDORSEMENT AHEAD OF APC PRIMARY ELECTION

A frontline aspirant for the Chanchaga State House of Assembly seat on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections, Dr. Yakubu Ibrahim, has secured the endorsement of a coalition of youth leaders and business professionals operating under the Minna Progressive Forum.

The endorsement, which comes ahead of the party’s primary election, was described by the group as a collective decision driven by confidence in her capacity to deliver effective, development-oriented representation for the Chanchaga Constituency.

In a statement, the group noted that the constituency requires a representative with a clear understanding of its socio-economic realities and the ability to translate legislative opportunities into tangible development, particularly in the area of economic growth.

Speaking on behalf of the forum, its spokesperson, Mohammed Tanko, said the decision followed weeks of consultations and careful consideration.

He said, “The people of Chanchaga are investing in leadership that reflects the future they desire. After thorough evaluation, Dr. Yakubu Ibrahim stood out in terms of accessibility, track record, and her consistent engagement with grassroots development. This informed our collective decision to support her aspiration.”

The group also called on delegates expected to participate in the forthcoming APC primary election to rally behind Dr. Ibrahim, stressing that her emergence would mark a significant step toward the development of the Chanchaga Constituency.
