HON. GOMNA PROMISES MORE DEMOCRATIC DIVIDENDS…

The member representing Bosso Constituency in the Niger State House of Assembly, Hon. (Arc) Abubakar S. Gomna, on Saturday reaffirmed his commitment to delivering more democratic dividends to his constituents if re-elected in the 2027 general election.
Gomna made this known while addressing journalists at the constituency party office in Maikunkele, Bosso Local Government Area, where he formally submitted his letter of intent to seek re-election for the House of Assembly seat.
He stated that over the past three years, he has facilitated numerous development initiatives across the constituency, attributing his achievements to the opportunity to serve and the support he has received from the people.

The lawmaker, who chairs the House Committee on Works, highlighted key accomplishments including the award of scholarships to students in public secondary schools and higher institutions, facilitation of 55 employment opportunities at both federal and state levels, execution of road projects, provision of instructional materials to schools, drilling and rehabilitation of boreholes, as well as empowerment programmes aimed at boosting livelihoods.
According to him, these achievements would not have been possible without the trust reposed in him by his constituents.
“For the three years I have served in the Assembly, I have been able to bring the dividends of democracy to the doorsteps of my people,” he said.
He added that the large turnout of supporters at the event demonstrated his accessibility, acceptance, and the willingness of the people to give him another mandate.

“Just as they have said, one good term deserves another. I also want to appreciate the Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umar Bago, for his unwavering commitment to the development of the state,” he added.
In a related development, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Food Security and Chairman of Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Bosso LGA, Musa Bawa Bosso, called on residents to overwhelmingly support Gomna’s re-election bid in 2027.
He described the lawmaker as a leader committed to serving the interests of the masses and party stakeholders.
“The achievements of Hon. Gomna are evident for all to see. Bosso needs a leader like him in the State House of Assembly to further drive development in the constituency,” he said.
