2027 ELECTION: EL-RUFAI MAY CONTEST FOR PRESIDENCY…..Makarfi
The former Kaduna State Governor, and a member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Nasir El- rufai may contest for the presidency in the 2027 general.
A close ally of the former Governor, Hayatudeen Lawal Makarfi, disclosed this while addressing the Journalist on Tuesday after the trial of Nasir El-,rufai.
According to him, the ex-Kaduna governor is preparing to run for the presidency in upcoming 2027 general elections
Speaking further, he said His excellency president Bola Ahmed Tinubu will hand over to his excellency Mallam Nasir el Rufai 2027 May and the journey has started.
It will be recalled that the finger Kaduna Governor El-Rufai, has been under detention by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC where he is undergoing trial for alleged corrupt practices while as the governor of Kaduna State.
