Corrections and Retractions Policy

Last updated: September 17th 2026

AchieversFocus is committed to accuracy. When we make a mistake, we correct it openly and promptly. This policy explains how errors are reported, reviewed, and fixed.

1. Reporting an Error

If you believe an article contains a factual error, outdated information, or misrepresents you or your organization, contact us at support@achieversfocus.com with:

  • A link to the article in question.
  • A description of the error.
  • Supporting information or documentation where available.

2. Review Process

Reported errors are reviewed by the relevant section editor together with our fact-checking team. Where the claim involves a legal or reputational concern, our Legal and Compliance Officer is also consulted. We aim to review and respond to correction requests within a reasonable timeframe, generally within five business days.

3. Types of Corrections

Minor corrections (typos, formatting issues, small factual details that do not affect the substance of the story) are fixed directly in the article without a separate notice.

Substantive corrections (errors that affect facts, quotes, figures, or a person’s or organization’s reputation) are fixed in the article text, and a correction notice is added at the bottom of the article stating what was changed and when.

Retractions (where a story is found to be substantially or entirely inaccurate, or should not have been published) result in the article being removed or replaced with a retraction notice explaining why.

4. Correction Notices

A typical correction notice will read:

“Correction [date]: This article originally stated [X]. It has been corrected to reflect [Y].”

Correction notices are not removed once added, so the article retains a visible record of the change.

5. Right of Reply

Where a correction stems from a complaint by a person or organization named in the article, we will consider publishing their response alongside the correction where appropriate, consistent with our Editorial Policy.

6. Escalation

If you are not satisfied with the outcome of a correction request, you may escalate the matter to our Editorial Standards and Ethics Officer by writing to support@achieversfocus.com and requesting escalation.
