HON. SONFADA PLEDGES PEOPLE-ORIENTED REPRESENTATION

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Candidate for Edati, Lavun and Mokwa Federal Constituency, Hon.Alhassan Sonfada has re-assured the electorate of people-oriented representation that will reposition the Constituency for greatness if he is elected during the 2027 general election

The NDC candidate made this promise while addressing Journalists recently in Minna, after being successfully screened and cleared to contest for the Federal Constituency seat in the forthcoming general election.

Hon. Sonfada explained that he is motivated to contest for House of Representatives seat by the need to advance Edati/ Lavun and Mokwa Federal Constituency through infrastructure renewal, economic empowerment for youths and women, educational support , improved access to quality Healthcare services, as well as expanded access to federal opportunities.

Speaking further, he said Edati, Lavun and Mokwa Federal Constituency are richly endowed with human, natural, and agricultural potentials which, if properly harnessed, could improve the economic growth and development across the constituency.

The NDC candidate however described his ambition as one driven by conviction and commitment to utilise legislative instruments to unlock the Federal constituency’s vast potentials and reposition it for sustainable progress and prosperity.

“My mission is to move the people of Edati, Lavun and Mokwa Federal Constituency from an era of dependency to self-sufficiency through different opportunities . The Federal Constituency is a strategic agricultural hub, and we must drive innovation and adopt policies that will position us globally,”

Hon. Alhassan however emphasized that grassroots engagement is central to his political approach, noting that understanding the needs of people across the Federal Constituency would guide his agenda.

“He thanked his supporters for their confidence, describing his emergence as the NDC candidate as a collective effort to reposition the constituency.”
