KOGI: KIDNAPPED PASSENGERS ESCAPE FROM FOREST AS BANDITS FALL ASLEEP
Several kidnapped passengers have reportedly escaped from a Bandits’ forest hideout in Kogi State after their abductors allegedly fell asleep.
It was reported that the victims, who had been held captive by suspected bandits, seized an unexpected opportunity in the dead of night after noticing that their captors had dozed off in the Forest.
The passengers were said to have quietly navigated through the dense terrain in a desperate bid for survival.
The victims were alleged to have trekked for hours through the forest before eventually finding help and making contact with security operatives and local residents. Their courageous escape has been described as both shocking and miraculous.
“Although, the authorities are yet to issue official statement regarding the incident, security agencies are expected to intensify efforts to track down the suspected kidnappers and rescue any remaining victims.”
