We welcome reader comments and value open discussion on our articles. To keep that discussion useful and safe for everyone, the following rules apply to all comments submitted on AchieversFocus.

1. What We Encourage

  • Comments that engage with the substance of the article.
  • Respectful disagreement and debate.
  • Corrections or additional information that improves accuracy, submitted through our correction process where appropriate.

2. What Is Not Allowed

Comments will be removed, and repeat violators may be blocked from commenting, if they contain:

  • Hate speech, or content that attacks a person or group based on ethnicity, religion, gender, disability, or similar characteristics.
  • Threats, harassment, or incitement to violence.
  • Defamatory statements about a named individual or organization.
  • Spam, advertising, or unrelated promotional links.
  • Deliberately false or misleading claims presented as fact.
  • Content that violates Nigerian law, including unlawful online conduct under the Cybercrime (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) (Amendment) Act 2024.
  • Impersonation of another person, including AchieversFocus staff.
  • Personal information about private individuals shared without their consent.

3. Moderation

We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to review, edit, hide, or delete any comment at our discretion, and to restrict a user’s ability to comment where these rules are repeatedly violated. Moderation decisions are made by our editorial team and are not subject to appeal, though you may contact us with concerns.

4. Reporting a Comment

If you see a comment that violates this policy, report it to support@achieversfocus.com with a link to the article and a description of the comment.

5. Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content of comments you post. By submitting a comment, you agree to our Terms and Conditions, including the license granted to us to display your submitted content on the site.

6. Anonymity and Identification

You may comment using a display name that is not your legal name. However, anonymity does not exempt you from the rules in this policy or from Nigerian law regarding online conduct.
